EPA Potomac Highlands Implementation Grants:

The American Rivers-Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Potomac Highlands Implementation Grant Program (PHIGP) provided critical funding for projects that fostered local, innovative solutions to improve the natural resources and socio-economic conditions in the Potomac Highlands and complemented the EPA’s Mid-Atlantic Highlands Action Program (HAP).  This program supported red spruce restoration on the Monongahela National Forest.
